ECU's ALSA 2006 team at the closing night dinner

The Australian Law Students Association (ALSA) Conference is held annually, and provides a forum for law students across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore to network and compete with one another in a range of events. This year's ALSA Conference was held in Melbourne during the winter break at which ECU was represented by teams in three of the competitions being run during the week, namely:

  • Alicia Maher and Simon Williams in the negotiation;
  • Kristin Clohessey and Toby Osmond in the general moot; and
  • Tania Wenn and Kade Rosenthal in the International Humanitarian Law moot.
The results were very encouraging, with one of our three teams making it into the quarter finals. Congratulations to all who participated!
